Geocaching by Rail in Portland

Tri-Met MAX Light Rail provides access from Hillsboro to Gresham to PDX airport. The Interstate line or "IMAX" runs from downtown Portland to the Expo center.  The Portland Streetcar runs from Portland State University to Northwest 23rd St.  For geocachers visiting the Portland area, MAX and the Streetcar can give you access to urban multi-micros to long-hike-in-the-woods caches.  For Tri-Met's information page on MAX transportation, including schedules, printable maps and fare information, click here.  The list below contains all of the current MAX stations and selected Portland Streetcar stops.  Click on your MAX station of interest for the geocaching.com map centered on the station coordinates.
